The Restorative Benefits of Using an Avocado Hair Mask

avocado hair
Avocados provide a variety of nutrients; and integrating these properties into an avocado hair mask, will leave your hair feeling restored and replenished. Avocados contain numerous vitamins, such as, Vitamin E and folic acid. These components are beneficial for promoting healthy hair. Using an avocado hair mask will help strengthen your hair.

The fatty acids found in avocados are an additional benefit, when using an avocado hair mask. These fatty acids contribute moisture to hair, leaving it shiny and nourished. The healthful attributes of the avocado fruit encourage hair growth. The avocado's oil contains sources of nourishment which stimulate regeneration of hair. Donna Hanover has discovered an oil mixture that dramatically and rapidly grew her hair. For more information about this exciting discovery:

Homemade Avocado Hair Mask Recipes

Creating an avocado hair mask recipe is a fun and pampering experience. Taking some time to yourself, just to relax and indulge in a beauty treatment, will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. Our hair goes through quite a bit of stress day to day. The products and hair tools we use on our hair can leave it dry and damaged. Soothing your hair with an avocado hair mask will help protect it from damage.

An avocado hair mask recipe can be created in a variety of ways, depending on your preferences. The basic ingredients in an avocado hair mask are avocado and olive oil, but these can be enhanced using a variety of unique elements. To create a simple mask, place one avocado in a bowl and add two tablespoons of olive oil. Combine the mixture by hand or using an electronic mixer. Develop a consistency you like, and if needed, add additional olive oil for the texture you desire. Apply the glossy combination to your hair and allow it to sit for twenty minutes. You may want to place a shower cap on your hair to assist the mixture with soaking into your hair. After the twenty minutes has passed, rinse off the mask and wash your hair with your favorite shampoo. You will notice how soft, manageable, and shiny your hair is.

If you would like to add a twist to the basic avocado hair mask recipe, how about adding some honey? Honey is great for boosting your hair's shine. Two tablespoons should do the trick, but you may want to add more if you enjoy honey. Another interesting idea is pouring some coconut milk into the mask. Coconut milk is wonderful for deep conditioning, softening, and promoting hair growth. Half of a cup of coconut milk will do nicely; however, feel free to pour in as much as you prefer.

Other great variations to your avocado hair mask recipe are adding bananas or varying the type of oil which is used. Placing a banana in your recipe will heighten the protective and shine boosting qualities of your mask. You may also want to replace the olive oil with another type of oil, which also helps to condition. Almond oil, jojoba oil, and wheat germ oil are all advantageous for this purpose.
